Taking the Scenic Route is a place for leadership stories, thoughtful conversations, and unexpected connections. It’s about slowing down long enough to listen, understand, and learn from the experiences of others - because progress rarely happens in a straight line.
Real progress begins with curiosity: the willingness to slow down, listen carefully, and seek understanding. Making those connections requires humility and a willingness to see the world through fresh eyes rather than rushing to judgment.
For me, that’s what Taking the Scenic Route is all about. It may take longer, and sometimes it feels uncertain, but the scenic route almost always leads somewhere more interesting -and often somewhere better.
This space is where I’ll share reflections from that journey, including updates on my upcoming book, Women Holding the Line.
I hope you’ll subscribe to the blog and join me on the scenic route.
